Yesterday I noticed that most of the things I've watched for the past weeks were in english with english subtitles or without any subtitles (thank you Air canada for not putting South Park with the sub smh).
I've even watched few episodes of The Simpson like this. And now, yes, the fr sub feels so weird wtf. So I guess I gotta keep doing it this way.

Also, important recommendation, read in english if you want to improve your level. I am not speaking about books even tho it's nice & cool & a very efficient way to do it. -- I am speaking about articles, tweets, memes, and all the written stuff you are looking for. Seriously. Don't just limit yourself to content in your native language !! On the web, in english, you can find almost EVERYTHING.

In my opinion, according to my experience, it's very effective. It's how I learned.
